Cholla wood (which is really the skeleton of a dead cholla cactus) has been used for years in shrimp tanks. It’s becoming a popular decor item in isopod habitats because cholla wood provides your isopods with lots of natural hiding places and they enjoy snacking on it. Our sandblasted cholla wood is very versatile at 6″ long. At this length, it can be used in a Microvarium, or shrimp tanks and terrariums of all sizes.
