Mintolla balls are the skeleton of the fibrous fruit from the pong-pong tree (Cerbera odollam). At 3 to 4 inches, they are the biggest pods we sell and are ideally suited as eyecatchers in a vivarium or aquarium. If used for the latter, they will take a while to sink, even after boiling. They are too big for microhabitats, unless you want to work around them as a huge focal point.
