Coco petals are a lightweight botanical, slightly larger than curly pods. They bring texture to your vivarium, aquarium or Microvarium. We like their smaller size. In the nano aquarium, coco petals provide hiding spots for your shrimp, in the Microvarium, they are often visited by isopods. They are great for smaller dart frog vivaria for the same reason. In the aquarium, they will decay at a moderate rate and will form biofilm that shrimp will love eating. When you plan to use them in your aquarium, we recommend you boil them first.
