One of the easiest to keep isopods. They are tolerant of a wide range of conditions and quick to propagate.
Like most of our isopods, Armadillidium nasatum ‘Peach’ (AKA Peach isopods) are very easy to keep. Equally cool as pets and habitat cleanup crew. They can act a tad shy, so be sure to draw them out by providing protein-heavy food food. They stay relatively small, between 1/2 and 3/4 inch and can range in color from light yellow to a dark burgundy red.
They are native to Northern-Europe, where they thrive in temperatures between 64°F and 73°F and can tolerate drier environments.
