Cylisticus convexus is a cosmopolitan species of isopod but this morph originates from the Ukraine. Compared to Dairy Cow or Shiro Utsuri isopods, these have more distinct and intricate blotching and a bit more contrast as well. Cylisticus convexus ‘Ukraine Pied’ is an easy-to-keep isopod that will do equally well as a clean-up crew and pet isopod colony.
