Gestroi Isopods

Armadillidium gestroi enjoys a humid environment. They reproduce a little slower than the typical Armadillidium species but make up for it with their outgoing personalities. They love leaf litter, so don’t feed them too much protein-rich food as it may mold in the enclosure.

Compared to others in their genus, Armadillidium gestroi gets quite large, close to 1 inch. It goes without saying that they look absolutely spectacular with their dark base color and vivid yellow spots.
