Microvarium guarantees live arrival of your isopods when you choose USPS Priority Express shipping during checkout. Oftentimes we will include extra isopods to compensate for losses during shipping. The live arrival guarantee only guarantees the number of isopods that were ordered.
The live arrival guarantee is void under these circumstances:
- The temperature at the destination is under 35°F or above 90°F.
- A delay in shipping has occurred due to handling by the carrier.
- A delay in shipping has occurred because an inaccurate delivery address entered at checkout.
- The shipment was not delivered on the first delivery attempt.
- An issue, including clear picture, was not reported to us within 30 minutes of the package being dropped off.
We will replace the loss at no extra cost or issue a store credit for the amount of the loss. We typically do not offer refunds unless extraordinary circumstances exist. We will work with you to find a satisfactory solution but all forms of guarantees are up to our discretion.
We also offer USPS priority without live arrival guarantee at a reduced cost but encourage you to use common sense when choosing your shipping method.
In the interest of the animal well-being and regardless of the chosen shipping method, we hold the right to delay shipments under extreme weather conditions.
